Delmanor Northtown Resident Conquers the CN Tower Edgewalk!

What better way to celebrate a 90th birthday then by performing the Edge Walk, over 100 stories high above the city of Toronto flanked by your grandchildren!

Betty Convery invited her five children to join her for this momentous occasion but was declined by each of them, claiming that the daredevil gene may have "skipped a generation".  Her grandchildren stepped up to join their amazing grandmother on this very special birthday celebration event at CN Tower's Edge Walk attraction.

Local news channels, staff and residents of Delmanor Northtown, along with all three generations of Betty's family watched and cheered her on as she completed something she aspired to do.  The thrill seeker has desired to complete the Edge Walk since the CN Tower first opened this attraction three seasons ago and her family were all present as she tested her limits for the thrill of her lifetime.

Leaning back!

Full of courage and spirit, Betty felt her 90th birthday was a great reason to try the world's highest full circle hands-free walk.  Loving heights and adventure, Betty has already set her sights on sky diving for her 91st birthday......let's see how many of her grandchildren come back to attempt this feat with her next year!

What a great story about inspiration, pursuing your dreams and letting the sky be the limit!  Way to go Betty!!
