Delmanor Deltones Sing into Spring

Spring was in the air at Delmanor Elgin Mills, when their very own Deltones choir performed for residents, family and staff. After two months of devoted preparation, The Deltones, led by Whitney Hilts Recreation Manager, sang their hearts out, performing fifteen classic spring and Easter songs.

The Delmanor Deltones Performance

The crowd was brought to their feet as these talented senior vocalists performed like professionals, donning their hand-made spring bonnets.

A warm thank you to the Delmanor Deltones for bringing some spring sunshine to an otherwise chilly spring season.

Delmanor Elgin Mills Visits the Sugar Bush

On Friday, April 8th, Delmanor Elgin Mills residents and staff visited Bruce's Mill Conservation Site for the Sugar Bush Maple Syrup Festival.

The Elgin Mills seniors went to Bruce's Mill to assist and experience tapping trees for the production of maple syrup. After walking the trails and collecting sap, the residents got to sample the finished product with a home-made pancake luncheon.

Residents Warming up by the Fire

After an afternoon of strolling along the trails in the cool spring air, the residents completed the visit with an old fashioned hay ride in the afternoon sun.
