Delmanor Glen Abbey Visits Niagara's Lavender Farm

The residents of Delmanor Glen Abbey travelled to the beautiful Niagara region to visit Niagara Lavender Farms for a picnic and tour.

Located in picturesque Niagara-on-the-lake, this certified organic lavender grower offers a truly unique experience for visitors, offering the world's first greenhouse operation dedicated to the innovation and preservation of aromatic plants.

Guests can roam the lavender fields and view the distillation and oil extraction methods used.  A boutique is open year round featuring all things lavender, where visitors can enjoy aromatic products or sample Neob botanical beverages, three new rose varieties and hardy orange trees.

The seniors were taken in by the captivating scents and beautiful lavender colour that surrounded them.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the delightful picnic lunch outside in the warm spring air. After their day at Lavender Farms, the residents were treated to a drive past the majestic Niagara Falls.
