Delmanor Glen Abbey Visits Bird Kingdom

The residents of Delmanor Glen Abbey boarded the Delmanor bus for a trip to Niagara Falls and the Niagara Bird Sanctuary for a truly soaring adventure!

Bird Kingdom is the world's largest indoor, free flying aviary.  The seniors took a journey through the rain-forest and interacted with over 400 exotic birds from around the world.

For the adventurous types, Bird Kingdom also offered many amazing reptile encounters.

The Discovery Zone allowed guests to meet the handlers and learn about the fantastic, highly intelligent birds.

Residents loved the JEWEL of the Bird Kingdom, which was located in the main atrium. The exquisite, mystical Javanese tea house!

Marvelously hand carved, it was an incredible and unique spot for the Delmanor seniors to savour tea and enjoy a dessert.  They even had an opportunity to unlock the mystery of the authentic, ancient symbols and mysterious writing.

For the residents who love to shop, there was a beautiful gift shop that offered unique gifts from garden decor to plush toys.
