Delmanor Northtown Celebrates Robbie Burns Day!

Whether you refer to it as Robbie Burns Day or Robbie Burns Night, this annual celebration of the famous Scottish poet's birthday is not to be missed by the Scottish and those who wish they were!

Robert Burns, also known as "Rabbie Burns", Scotland's favourite son, lived from January 25, 1759 to July 21 1796.

Delmanor Northtown residents embraced this Scottish celebration by sharing Scottish history and the life story of the famous Robbie Burns.

The bagpipes were played in perfect tune while the haggis was addressed in custom.  The Delmanor Northtown residents loved listening to the humorous and interesting Scottish poems.  Many took part in the Scottish celebration by dressing in plaid, including Scotsmen in their kilts.  Everyone enjoyed the shortbread and refreshments served at this fun annual event.
