Delmanor Wynford Bids Farewell to Summer

It was with mixed emotions that the residents of Delmanor Wynford enjoyed the last few days of summer.  The seniors were sad to see summer go, but thoroughly enjoyed a very special send off to summer celebration that was held at Delmanor Wynford

To begin the party, residents enjoyed a delicious BBQ prepared by the talented Wynford Chefs.  The BBQ included a number of resident favourites such as corn on the cob, assorted salads, marinated steak, BBQ chicken, and delicious wine to compliment their meals.

The celebration continued after dinner with Mega-City Swing Band, an 18 piece big band, that dazzled late into the evening.  The talented band consisted of rhythm, bass and wood wind instruments.  The guests enjoyed songs from Glen Miller Orchestra, Frank Sinatra, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, and Tommy Dorsey.  Everyone at Delmanor Wynford were tapping their toes and singing along to the songs from days gone by.
