Delmanor Glen Abbey Visits the West End Buddhist Centre

The residents of Delmanor Glen Abbey visited the Mississauga Buddhist Temple on Dixie Road.  Rev. Dr. Bhante extended a warm welcome to the seniors, some of whom were visiting him for the second time.

The vision of the West End Buddhist Centre is to build a network of support in the community that nourishes intellectual and spiritual growth while maintaining Buddhist traditions.  Their mission is to be a place "where friendships begin and never end: a new generation temple open to all".

Everyone enjoyed touring the temple and learning more about Buddhism, while being treated to a delightful lunch of Sri Lankan food.
