Santa Claus Came to Richmond Hill

The Richmond Hill Santa Claus Parade marked the start of the holiday season in the community.  The parade welcomed Delmanor Elgin Mills staff, residents, community & children's organizations, local businesses and the residents of Richmond Hill.

Getting ready for the parade!

Despite the damp weather, there were many floats filled with happy, smiling faces.  Yonge Street was lined with spectators of all ages that were taking in the fun of the parade.  Even the canine participants were dressed in holiday costumes for the event!

The Delmanor Elgin Mills bus was a main attraction; featuring penguins lining the roof, garlands draped across the windows and Santa hanging onto both the hood and rear of the bus.

The entire community thoroughly enjoyed the parade this year.  Delmanor resident, Eleanor, in her 87th year walked the entire 3km parade route with her daughter!  What an inspiration she was to all!
