Delmanor Wynford Residents Reach New Heights!

Five residents from Delmanor Wynford set out for an afternoon of adventure at True North Climbing, an indoor rock climbing facility in Toronto.

The residents at Delmanor Wynford were excited to add a bit of adventure to their day and prove to everyone that seniors can rock climb!  The Delmanor Wynford residents were an inspiration to everyone, with the eldest rock climber being 91 years young!

With the excellent instructions and guidance from the staff at True North Climbing, the residents were taught safe climbing techniques, along with proper use of the harness.  The Delmanor Wynford seniors were very successful in climbing the rock wall and had a fantastic time!

The residents all had a great time and enjoyed the self confidence that came with rock climbing.  All of the seniors that participated in this event have already shown great interest in the next rock climb.  Many of the residents that were hesitant to participate in this years event are inspired to take part in Rock Climbing Adventure 2012!
