Residents at Delmanor Elgin Mills along with the 2nd and 6th Richmond Hill Girl Guides had much to celebrate on December 6th as they rejoiced in the music of the season and a very special 100th year of Girl Guides in Canada.
The Girl Guides had been very busy preparing their musical performance as well as creating handmade Christmas decorations and mini decorated Christmas trees to adorn the tables at the retirement residence.
The Delmanor seniors sang along to the Christmas carols and sounds of Hanukkah, and then shared many holiday memories with the Girl Guides after their performance.
A warm hearted holiday thank you was given to all of the 2nd and 6th Richmond Hill Girl Guides and to the volunteers that worked so generously to put on this special holiday event.
