The
baseball fans of Delmanor Prince Edward attended the Toronto Blue Jays vs.
Chicago White Sox game recently at the Rogers Centre.
With fantastic weather and the dome open wide, it was the perfect night for an
exciting game!
Residents
came prepared for the game, dressed in their Blue Jays attire, and enjoyed
snacks and drinks to beat the heat. The residents were seated right along the
first base line and were able to be a part of the roaring crowd, especially
since it was such a close game. With the Jays down 9-7 in the bottom of the
9th inning, Blue Jays third-baseman, Donaldson, scored a home run
helping them pull off a 10-9 victory!
Amongst
all the excitement, the residents managed to get a photo with Blue Jays mascot,
Ace, as he circled the crowd bringing nothing but smiles and team spirit.
The
residents of Delmanor Prince Edward were able to enjoy an exhilarating game,
along with great laughs and wonderful friends, and are looking forward to attending
their next game against the
notorious Yankees!
