Delmanor Northtown's Fall Train Tour

There is nothing more beautiful and picturesque than the Canadian countryside in Autumn!

The residents of Delmanor Northtown enjoyed some of the seasons beauty with exceptional views of  Ontario's countryside.  The Credit Valley Explorer is southern Ontario's sightseeing train tour that travels across the Hills of Headwaters departing from Orangeville in the heart of Ontario's Greenbelt.  Known for rolling hills, deep valleys, unsurpassed fall colours and being the headwaters of four major river systems, the Hills of Headwaters region provides a breathtaking backdrop for the Credit Valley Explorer's journey.

The seniors were given a beautiful rest stop in the quaint town of Inglewood, and time to browse some of the lovely boutique shops.  The weather for this tour was absolutely wonderful.  The warm sun cascading on the vibrant colours of autumn leaves provided a glorious experience for everyone involved.

The 74km rail route was established over 130 years ago along the Niagara Escarpment.  It was a real adventure for the Northtown seniors that included comfortable seats, complimentary refreshments, and a lovely meal that was served by the friendly attendants on board, not forgetting all of the wonderful travel companions!
