Delmanor Elgin Mills "Knit Wits" Presentation Event

The hard working seniors that make up the Delmanor Elgin Mills 'Knit Wits" have continued to knit scarves, mitts and hats this year in preparation for the cold winter months ahead.

The Richmond Hill Salvation Army organizes an annual winter coat drive where residents of Richmond Hill can donate gently used winter coats to those less fortunate in the community.

The 'Knit Wits" with some of their creations!
The hard work from the Delmanor Elgin Mills 'Knit Wits" resulted in cozy accessories to offer with the coats that are collected from the winter coat drive.  Everyone at Delmanor Elgin Mills were thrilled that they were donating 48 scarves, 9 hats, and 5 pairs of mitts to the drive.  Each and every donation is going to make a dramatic impact on the lives of those who are receiving the warm knitted items.  The "Knit Wits" will continue to work on items that will benefit others, they have already begun working on items for next winter!
