Delmanor Wynford Goes Fishing!

Residents of Delmanor Wynford travelled to Burd's Family Fishing for an afternoon of fun & fishing!

The trout farm, located in Stouffville,  has two large ponds for fishing as well as a picturesque country backdrop.

Although it was overcast when the residents left Delmanor Wynford, by the time they arrived in Stouffville, the sun had come out from behind the clouds, which made for a picture-perfect day.

The seniors thoroughly enjoyed the changing leaves during the ride to the trout farm.  Residents then selected their lucky fishing rods upon arrival at Burd's Family Fishing and spent the afternoon fishing in the beautiful sunshine.

Despite the range of experience of the fishermen and fisher women (for some it was their first time ever fishing), all of the seniors were able to catch at least one fish!  The residents were thrilled with their catch.  Everyone had a great day fishing & look forward to another fishing adventure next spring.

Upon returning home from their afternoon of fishing, the fishermen & fisher women were treated to a private fish-fry at Delmanor Wynford and enjoyed reminiscing about their afternoon at the pond.
