Gung Hei Fat Choy! Delmanor Wynford Celebrates Chinese New Year!

Delmanor Wynford residents and staff dressed in their best Chinese attire to celebrate Chinese New Year and the year of the dragon.

dressed in traditional Chinese clothing.

Residents were treated to a traditional Chinese dinner inspired by our very own Wynford chefs. Following the delicious dinner, the seniors were treated to musical entertainment including several traditional Chinese songs. Instruments such as the erhu (Chinese violin), the dizi (Chinese flute), and the pipa (Chinese guitar) were played. Delmanor staff brewed Chinese blooming tea for all residents to enjoy during the musical performance.

Residents and staff had a wonderful evening enjoying the tastes and sounds of China. Residents loved the beautiful Chinese lanterns adorned throughout the building and the 10 foot Chinese dragon was a tremendous hit! Fun and laughter was shared by all!
