Delmanor Northtown Takes a Scenic Boat Cruise

Residents from Delmanor Northtown travelled to Orillia to board the fall colours boat cruise on Lake Couchiching.  The beauty of the fall season was captured with the majestic autumn leaves and their captivating reflection in the tranquil waters of Lake Couchiching.

Eleanor loves being out on the water. Having a cottage has been her family's tradition for many many years, so coming up and looking at other cottages on this cruise was definitely enjoyable for her.

"Orilla's Island Princess" cruise boat is a large double-decker riverboat style vessel with a four person crew.  Captain Tom was the tour guide while the residents sipped freshly brewed coffee and tasted warm baked treats.  The seniors listened to a narration on the history of the area along with more current information about the owners of the beautiful cottage properties that were visible from the boat.

Isabelle enjoyed standing out on the bow of the "Island Princess" even after it started to drizzle

Despite the damp fall weather, the residents enjoyed the time spent on the water and look forward to doing another trip in the fall seasons to come!

Robert who enjoys photography, brought along a few different cameras to capture the fall colours
