Delmanor Northtown Residents Enjoy an Afternoon on A Heritage Railway

All Aboard!

Delmanor Northtown residents travelled in a restored 1920's coach over the rails of a century-old branch line that once connected Hamilton with Barrie and Collingwood. The Delmanor Seniors enjoyed the sights and sounds of the vintage locomotive as they travelled through the rolling countryside and reminisced about days gone by.

The return trip from Tottenham took just under an hour and was highlighted by the Conductor's friendly and informative commentary. The residents experienced travel as they once did, and were reminded about the history of the railways that made Canada what it is today!
