Fashions from this time period were very elaborated. A lady's dress affected the way she walked, sat and moved her arms. Getting dressed each day for women of this time period was quite an event, but the results were simply stunning.
Nancy MacLeod has been presenting Victorian Fashion Shows for 30 years. She came to Delmanor Elgin Mills to the delight of residents and guests. The seniors marveled in the beautiful gowns with glorious details and stunning embellishments. The highlight of the event was the unique opportunity for the residents and guests to model the lovely fashions.
Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying and appreciating what many would argue to be the most beautiful era in fashion history.
