Volunteers are those fantastic individuals that engage in activities to promote goodness and improve the quality of life of others.
The residents and staff of Delmanor Elgin Mills recognize the significant contributions made by the volunteers of the retirement community. To thank them for their selfless devotion, a volunteer dinner was held at Delmanor Elgin Mills for all of the community and resident volunteers.
The annual Volunteer Dinner featured a wonderful 3-course gourmet meal created by the Delmanor Elgin Mills Culinary Team. Guests chatted about many of the wonderful events that were held at the retirement community in the past year, while a table side magician delighted guests with his fun and mind-blowing acts.
Although the volunteers of Delmanor Elgin Mills are appreciated each and every day, this annual dinner, held during National Volunteer Month, provides an opportunity to thank the volunteers for how much of an impact they have on the seniors of Delmanor Elgin Mills.
Each of the volunteer guests of honour were given a certificate of service by Richmond Hill MP Costas Menegakis. Everyone had a wonderful time honouring the special people who give so much of their free time to help others.
