The seniors enjoyed lunch at the old brewery, then wandered through the picturesque town observing the demonstrations, touring the houses and barns and watching a butter churning demonstration.
The residents had a wonderful day, pausing to reflect on years gone by and slowing down to take in the simplicity of yesteryear.
The afternoon was completed with warm oatmeal cookies made by a volunteer over the wood fire.
