Delmanor Elgin Mills Takes a Trip Back in Time.....

On a cool fall afternoon, 10 Delmanor Elgin Mills residents visited Black Creek Pioneer village to observe the Halloween decorations and take in pioneer life for the day.

The seniors enjoyed lunch at the old brewery, then wandered through the picturesque town observing the demonstrations, touring the houses and barns and watching a butter churning demonstration.

The residents had a wonderful day, pausing to reflect on years gone by and slowing down to take in the simplicity of yesteryear.

The afternoon was completed with warm oatmeal cookies made by a volunteer over the wood fire.
