Learning from Handwriting at Delmanor Glen Abbey

The residents of Delmanor Glen Abbey enjoyed laughs and learning with Elaine Charal, as she demonstrated the science and methodology of Handwriting Analysis. Elaine is a keynote speaker and certified graphologist, implementing analysis and techniques utilized by investigators to extract hidden information. What was uncovered by our own residents led to epiphanies, chuckles, and cries of ‘That’s exactly me!’
Offering a step by step walk through of every curve and line, Elaine identified parts of each resident that they were proud of and reminded us of how intricate our sense of self can be. Residents found in their signatures evidence of their caring natures, nurturing inclinations, and undeniable strength. Having this unfurled beside good friends allowed each resident to form bonds and affirmations, ensuring that even if one thinks they may have lost touch with old feelings, others can still see it within. Many hugs were had that day.

By explaining the methods of analysis, Elaine also offered advice on how simple changes to ones writing can affect ourselves for positive change. Something as easy as larger capital letters can work towards greater feelings of confidence and empowerment. A presentation also explored the writing, and even fashion, of celebrities and politicians to show how line and shape conveys character.

A sophisticated offering of coffees and pastries afterwards allowed the residents of Delmanor to further explore their findings with each other, applying what they learned to figures evident in the news as well as seeing ways to strengthen their favourite aspects of themselves.  A wonderful and inspiration time was had by all.
