Delmanor Wynford Enjoys a Taste of the Islands!

Island breezes blew through Delmanor Wynford as residents and staff came together for a Caribbean Carnival Celebration!  The Delmanor Wynford seniors and team members arrived for lunch dressed in their Caribbean themed costumes and festive carnival attire. Ashley, Delmanor Wynford Recreation Manager was absolutely stunning in her elaborate feathered costume!

The fun afternoon kicked off with a scrumptious BBQ.  The menu included traditional Caribbean fare, such as spicy grilled jerk chicken and a delicious mango salad.  Following lunch, residents were treated to the infectious feel-good vibes from a 3 piece steel pan band!

Everyone enjoyed the high spirited and energy filled event!  The seniors loved getting their groove on and enjoying a little taste of the islands without having to leave Delmanor Wynford Retirement Community!
