Fruit Kabob Workshop at Delmanor Glen Abbey

What fun was had by residents at Delmanor Glen Abbey as they created a fruit salad presentation - on a stick!

This wonderful, healthy side appeals to all ages from finger feeding toddlers to seniors who enjoy fun and unique ways of presenting snacks.

The residents and guests of Delmanor Glen Abbey enjoyed preparing the fruit in anticipation for the elegant kabob creations.  The prepared skewers were then dipped in chocolate for a sinful creation that was loved by all!

Residents commented on how surprisingly easy it was to thread the grapes, watermelon, pineapple and bananas onto the sticks.  The result was a beautiful display of fresh fruit that they were proud to show off - but not for too long however since the temptation to try the tasty treats was overwhelming!
