Delmanor Northtown Rings in the New Year!

Delmanor Northtown residents and friends enjoyed a fun and stylish New Year's Eve, with fantastic live entertainment, and wonderful company.

It wouldn't be a New Years Celebration without sparkling decorations, noisemakers, and festive hats.  Some of the hats that were worn were personally created by residents at a Delmanor Northtown craft class.  With a champagne toast to welcome in the New Year, residents, guests, and family members set their sights and goals on the upcoming year.  Some of the seniors made New Years Resolutions, while others simply reflected on the past year and their experiences.  Whether resolutions are big, small, or not at all, New Years Eve resembles a time for a new beginning or fresh start.

The seniors laughed as they reflected on some of their experiences from this past year.  Residents spoke of the many goals and dreams that Delmanor Northtown has made come true for each of them.  Goals such as starting a choir, learning to use Skype to talk to family, achievements in fitness and even playing bongos in a band for the first time, these were just some of the goals that came to fruition for seniors living at Delmanor Northtown in 2014!

As the evenings' events came to a close, and the band played their final song, residents began to speak of all of the exciting activities and trips that are coming in the New Year.  The Delmanor Northtown residents have so much to look forward to in 2015!  Happy New Year!
