Royal Ontario Museum Visits Delmanor Northtown
Residents of Delmanor Northtown and guests enjoyed an afternoon with the Royal Ontario Museum.
The seniors and guests were delighted to have artifacts from Beijing's Palace Museum brought to Delmanor Northtown for everyone to view first hand. For over 500 years, the world's largest imperial palace was only viewed by the Emperor and servants. The newest exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum features many of these one-of-a-kind artifacts from the palace. Some of the over 200 treasures have left China for the very first time to come to Toronto.
The Forbidden City Exhibit is truly breathtaking. To have the court of China's emperors brought in to the lounge of Delmanor Northtown was an honour for everyone that was in attendance. The Forbidden City presentation was the third visit by the R.O.M to Delmanor and most definitely, one that will not be forgotten.
