Each year ORCA requests submissions from all Ontario retirement communities for the Resident of the Year. This year Delmanor Glen Abbey nominated Rev. Ted Kersey to receive this award for his lifetime of achievements and contributions to the community where he resides.

Over 1400 guests attended the event held at the Toronto Convention Centre for the presentation of the award.

Rev. Ted Kersey was presented with a plaque in recognition of this wonderful achievement. A heart-warming tribute was read from his Grandson that resides in Mexico in honour of his grandfather.
